Remember that scene from Batman Begins The Dark Knight where Christian Bale leaps off a building in Hong Kong, grabs his cape and the gloves Morgan Freeman made him send an electrical charge through the material causing it to firm up in the shape of a wing. Well, a material like that actually exists.
