The original version of Tapatalk for both iPhone and iPad is now free for all users and brings with it the completely redesigned interface that users of Tapatalk 2 already enjoy.
For existing users of the original version Taptalk that have in-app purchases and additional content, hold off if you'd like to keep it as they'll have an update to address it shortly.
When Tapatalk 2 was released a while back, the differentiating factor was the completely redesigned interface and some additional features such as themes and other abilities. This update brings Tapatalk 2 and the original version pretty close in functionality which makes us wonder if they're planning anything to really differentiate the two.
