Sports Interactive has today pulled the wraps off the latest in the Football Manager series – that's the proper football, with the round ball – Football Manager 2014. Due for release later this year on Mac as well as Windows and Linux, the title is now up for pre-order from a variety of retailers, including Steam.
Anyone who pre-orders Football Manager 2014 will also get early access to the beta version of the game for a full two-weeks ahead of launch. The offer applies to both in-store and online pre-orders for digital downloads and hard copies, and should be honored wherever you go to get your copy.
One of the biggest new additions to Football Manager this year is cloud saves, so you can move between computers and take your progress with you. Steam copies also integrate with Steam Workshop to create and share your own content and challenges. There's also an improved match engine, more realistic transfers and contracts, a tactical overhaul and a whole lot more. There's sure to be a lot of folks out there looking forward to this, are you one of them?
